Divorce Coaching

Divorce isn’t just a legal process—it’s an emotional one. Many people feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to think clearly while everything feels like it’s changing at once. Divorce Coaching offers steady, grounded support during this transition so you don’t have to navigate it alone.

What Is Divorce Coaching?

Divorce Coaching is a non-legal, non-therapeutic support service focused on helping you feel calmer, more organized, and more confident as you move through separation or divorce. This work is one-on-one and client-centered, offering a space to slow things down, talk things through, and regain a sense of control.Unlike mediation, divorce Coaching is not neutral and does not involve both parties. The focus is entirely on you—your concerns, your decisions, and your next steps.

How Divorce Coaching Can Support You

Divorce Coaching may include:

  • Emotional support during high-stress or emotionally charged moments
  • Help sorting through confusion, overwhelm, or decision fatigue
  • Clarifying priorities, values, and short-term goals
  • Preparing for conversations with attorneys, mediators, or your spouse
  • Coaching around communication, boundaries, and co-parenting dynamics
  • Organizing information and questions to make professional meetings more productive
  • Offering perspective and reassurance during an uncertain time

The goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you feel steadier, clearer, and better prepared to make your own decisions.
What Divorce Coaching Is Not

To maintain clarity and protect clients:

  • Divorce Coaching does not provide legal advice
  • It does not include drafting legal documents or court representation
  • It does not replace an attorney, mediator, or therapist
  • It does not involve neutrality between parties

Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed attorney for legal advice specific to their situation.

Relationship to Mediation

Divorce Coaching is a separate and distinct service from divorce mediation. I do not serve as both coach and mediator in the same matter, and roles are never combined or switched. This clear separation supports ethical practice and client trust.

Fees

Divorce Coaching is offered at $125 per hour, billed directly to the client. Package options may be available. If you are looking for calm, supportive guidance—someone to help you think clearly, steady your emotions, and prepare for what’s ahead—divorce Coaching may be a good fit.
